How are O'Neill wetsuits tested for quality?Updated 10 days ago

O'Neill wetsuits undergo extensive testing to ensure they meet high standards for quality, performance, and safety.

As wetsuits are classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), independent testing bodies assess materials, seams, components, and thermal performance to ensure they meet the required standards.

In addition, O'Neill works with third-party laboratories to verify compliance with European chemical regulations. Before a new wetsuit is released, it also undergoes extensive in-water testing and fit checks by O'Neill's product and engineering teams to ensure it performs as expected in real conditions.
